博士生导师，1992年毕业于中山医科大学后一直在中山一院从事肝胆胰脾外科临床工作，1999年获得医学博士学位。曾先后于1999年前往香港中文大学威尔斯亲王医院肝胆胰外科学习1年、2003年前往美国Pittsburgh大学肿瘤外科从事肿瘤治疗研究2年多。至今已主持多项国家自然科学基金、省部级基金资助的课题研究，取得了丰硕的成果。2007年作为课题主要完成人“超声引导经皮消融治疗肝癌的系列研究”获得“广东省科学技术进步一等奖”。临床经验十分丰富，尤其擅长于肝胆道及胰腺各种疾病、疑难复杂病的诊断与治疗，包括：①肝脏、胆道肿瘤的诊断与手术治疗;②肝胆管结石、先天性胆管囊性扩张症的诊断与手术治疗;③各种胆囊疾病的诊断和治疗;④肝硬化门脉高压症的手术治疗;⑤射频/微波消融治疗肝癌;⑥肝癌全身性化疗治疗;⑦胰腺肿瘤的手术治疗。
